Fire Safety Engineer
Fire Safety, ELV & Fire Fighting Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Fire Safety, ELV, and Fire Fighting Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire safety, ELV, and fire fighting systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement fire alarm, smoke detection, fire suppression, emergency lighting, and emergency communication systems
• Conduct fire safety audits and risk assessments
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients for system integration
• Support fire drills and emergency response planning
Fire Fighting Systems
• Design, install, and commission sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and extinguishers
• Perform hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems
• Ensure compliance with NFPA and local fire safety standards
• Conduct testing and commissioning of fire protection systems
ELV Systems
• Design and configure CCTV, access control, PA systems, intercoms, and fire alarm systems
• Integrate ELV systems with fire safety infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and maintain ELV systems for smooth operation
Testing & Maintenance
• Test and commission installed systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Resolve technical faults and system issues efficiently
Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, ISO, and local fire safety regulations
• Maintain technical documents, reports, manuals, and maintenance records
• Assist during audits, inspections, and certifications
Team Coordination
• Work with project managers, contractors, and clients for project execution
• Guide junior engineers and technicians on technical issues
Training
• Train clients on system operation and maintenance
• Prepare clear technical documentation and reports
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Safety Engineering
• Relevant certifications in Fire Safety, Fire Fighting, or ELV systems preferred
Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Fire Safety, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems
• Hands-on experience with sprinklers, hydrants, suppression systems, and ELV solutions
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, ISO, and local safety standards
Technical Skills
• Expertise in fire safety and ELV systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire safety design tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Certifications
• NFPA / FSSA certifications
• CCTV, Access Control, and ELV-related certifications
